Chainsaw Man is getting a movie and Studio MAPPA has just released a teaser trailer for the shounen anime film, which is titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
Chainsaw Man is one of the most ridiculously insane shows, and the energy is just explosive! I love how absolutely bonkers it is and there’s no doubt that movie is going to deliver a great time!
The description for the film reads: “Denji became ‘Chainsaw Man’, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain.
“There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café. Extravagant bloody battle involving love and desire, humans and devils, is coming to the big screens!”
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, with the original story written and illustrated in the Chainsaw Man manga by author Tatsuki Fujimoto.
The movie was also worked on by screenwriter Hiroshi Seko, character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama, and assistant director Masato Nakazono.
The cast includes talents such as Kikunosuke Toya, Shiori Izawa, Tomori Kusunoki, Shogo Sakata, Fairouz Ai, Reina Ueda, and more.
While no exact release date has been provided yet, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be available to watch in theatres sometime in 2025.
