Josh Holloway to Star In Survival Thriller ONE SECOND AFTER Based on NYT Best-Seller

Josh Holloway (Lost) has signed on to star in the film adaptation of One Second After, based on the New York Times bestselling novel from William R. Forstchen.

Holloway will star as John Matherson, a college professor and former military officer charged with protecting his community after a catastrophic electromagnetic pulse attack cripples the nation.

Set in the hills of North Carolina, the film follows John as he confronts a world suddenly stripped of power, communication, and modern infrastructure, guiding those around him through life-or-death decisions in a fight for survival.

Veteran stunt coordinator and second unit director Scott Rogers (Tron: Ares, John Wick: Chapter 4) will direct the film, which is a co-production of MPI Original Films (Motherland, Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game) and Startling Inc. (House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones), with filming to begin in Sofia, Bulgaria next month.

Also known for projects like USA Network’s Colony, on which he was a producer, and Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, Holloway recently wrapped opposite Joe Cole and Rita Ora on He Bled Neon for XYZ Films.
