Tom Holland has been a great asset to the MCU, having played the character Spider-Man across three solo films and several ensemble outings. His movies have been major successes in the box office, and hits with the fans and critics alike.
Everyone is pumped for his next film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is shooting now, and while promoting a new cologne line, Holland chatted about his most memorable moments playing the web-slinger.
During an interview with Dazed (via CBM) to promote Prada’s Paradigme Eau de Parfum, Holland revealed the one moment from his life he’d like to experience again if given the chance.
“Some things immediately spring to mind that I’m not gonna talk about, that I would love to go back and relive. I think things that would be appropriate to talk about are being on set with Toby [Maguire] and Andrew [Garfield] for the first time.
“It was a day filled with so many nerves and anticipation that concluded with three long-lost brothers coming together. It was a really, really special time.”
He went on to add another memory:
“Also, the day that I got cast as Spider-Man is imprinted in my mind. Oh my God, it was so crazy. I’d love to be a fly on the wall and watch that young kid, my life changed that day.
“I was in my bed at my parents’ house. I remember I was I sat on the left side of my bed on my computer. I just played golf with my dad.”
These are both great memories to hear about! I bet each of these moments were incredible to experience, and I’m glad Holland was chosen to bring Peter Parker to life.
He really embodies the youthful, hopeful character, and I can’t wait to see what happens to him next.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
