Netflix has dropped a great trailer for the upcoming series The Four Seasons, featuring the all-star cast that includes Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, Colman Domingo, and Steve Carell.
The comedy series is co-created and written by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, with writing by Lisa Muse Bryant, Vali Chandrasekaran, Dylan Morgan, John Riggi, Josh Siegal, and Matt Whitaker. It’s directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini (Girl Most Likely, Fleishman Is in Trouble, Succession, Only Murders in the Building).
The synopsis reads: “Six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Tina Fey) & Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) & Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) & Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news.
“Over the course of a year, we follow the friends on four vacations, and watch how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic — sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface.”
This looks so good. I love the cast, and the story feels relevant to the time of life I’ll be entering soon. I look forward to watching.
