T.J. Miller Joins Indie Techno-Thriller A.I. HEART U

T.J. Miller is diving into the world of artificial intelligence with his latest role in A.I. Heart U, an indie techno-thriller written and directed by Jason Cook.

Known for his work on Silicon Valley and a long list of major studio films, Miller joins an ensemble cast that includes Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights), Heather Morris (Glee), Kayla Compton (The Flash), and Jonathan Kite (2 Broke Girls).

In the film, Miller plays Marco, an eccentric AI tech partner, as the story dives into the complexities of artificial intelligence and its impact on human relationships. While AI-driven thrillers often lean into dystopian fears, Cook sees this one a little differently.

Cook explained: “This is a cautionary tale about AI, but framing it as a tool, not an inherent evil. This is a story about a bad guy enabled by AI, kinda like Faust. We’re just grateful to have such an incredible cast to bring it to life.”

The film is the first project from Cook and producer Trent Garrett’s newly established Blue Collar Productions, which has a fully funded slate of four films in the works.

Miller’s connection to AI and tech extends beyond the movie as he has also been involved in the Web3 and NFT space. He has also become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable voices in Bitcoin while exploring how blockchain technology can shape entertainment.

Miller has had his share of blockbuster movie moments, from Deadpool and Transformers to lending his voice to animated hits like Big Hero 6, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Emoji Movie. He also starred alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman in Office Christmas Party.
