Wicked Cool Trailer For Vietnam War Dinosuar Survival Film PRIMITIVE WAR

I have an awesome must-watch trailer for an upcoming survival thriller titled Primitive War, which stars Jeremy Piven (Entourage) and Ryan Kwanten (True Blood).

Set in Vietnam in 1968, “the Primitive War movie will follow “a search and rescue team known as Vulture Squad sent to an isolated jungle valley to reveal the fate of a missing Green Beret platoon.

“As they hunt through the primordial depths of the valley and the casualties mount, the Vulture Squad members must embrace their savage instincts to survive the horrors they face, including the ultimate Apex predators, dinosaurs.”

The movie was written and directed by Luke Sparke (Occupation Rainfall, Bring Him To Me), and it also stars Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, Lucifer), Nick Wechsler (Revenge, The Boys), Anthony Ingruber (Age of Adaline), Aaron Glenane (Danger Close), Carlos Sanson Jr (Bump) and Ana Thu Nguyen (Mortal Kombat 2).

The movie was filmed on the Gold Coast, Australia, with a mostly local crew, sprawling sets and real jungle locations that add up to a raw, immersive experience.

Sparke previousky talked about first reading Pettus’s novel, and how the striking cover of a soldier battling a Utahraptor captured his imagination, while Helfer adds, “It’s about people coming together, using primal instincts to survive.”

Wechsler describes the concept as “bananas – and so much better than it has any business being.” Carlos Sanson added that it’s “a war film meets dinosaur film meets action film – blending the best of all genres.”

The movie is set to be released later this year and I can’t wait to watch it!
